Fancy getting involved with your local natural environment? In 2010 we’ve a bunch of blooming great events running throughout England. Discover your inner botanist at a plant identification course or tell us your plant experiences at a reminiscence day. For families we’ve ‘hands-on’ activities and ‘toddle waddles’ whilst our Engaging Nature workshops are perfect for teachers, youth workers and community leaders wishing to access and enjoy natural spaces with those they work with. Plants of the meadows
Plants of the meadows

(10am - 12pm or 1pm - 3pm) National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire. Explore the wildflower meadows at the arboretum and be introduced to know five main plant families of the UK. Learn their characteristic features and feel more confident about spotting species from these families in the wild. Open to those 18 and over only.
